Our Skippers and Boat
The Savage has a long history of some of the largest catches of Madeira's famous Atlantic Blue Marlin (1000lb plus). The English crew all hold fully commercially endorsed licenses. Our boat is equipped with 50/80/130 Shimano and Penn International rods and reels and full safety equipment and SSB. She has twin diesel engines and weather protection. We promote tag and release of all billfish All the Marlin that are caught are treated with the utmost care and respect, no gaffs are used and the fish are properly revived before release. The "catch-of-a-lifetime" awaits you!. Madeira's deep blue Atlantic waters offer good fishing all year round. You can expect to catch (depending on season):
