Big Game Fishing in Madeira is the ultimate experience! It's one of the best places in the world to experience the thrills of  Big Game Fishing. We are based at the new Calheta Marina, which is only a 25 minute drive from Funchal. Enjoy the only sandy beach in Madeira, the great local eating & drinking facilities at Calheta & best of all, the chance to experience Big Game Fishing at its best.

Our boat the ``Savage´´ is a 40ft, fully equipped big game boat with 50/80/130 Penn and Shimano rods and reels. We specialize in Big Blue Marlin - please visit our Photo Gallery and Press Release webpages to view some of our catches.

We also target White Marlin, Black Marlin, Wahoo, Barracuda, Dorado, Tuna. Also NEW this year we are offering Broad Bill Fishing and Shark Fishing (Hammerhead, Mako , Blue Shark). The Marlin season in Madeira begins in late April and lasts until the end of September, due to the deep water here fishing begins directly outside the marina so there is no time wasted in catching that fish of a lifetime!

From the superb new marina at CALHETA, you can stay in one of the local hotels, rent a villa or travel from the capital Funchal in only 25 minutes.

This year we are offering charters with or without accommodation. We have rooms to rent in a beautiful villa (5 minutes from the marina) with pool and large fully equipped barbecue area and kitchen, all rooms are ensuite . The villa also boasts breathtaking sea views, and nearby some fantastic walks along the famous levadas
